TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF BIKE + KIT HIRE/RENTAL & PAYMENTS!!!!!

The customer hereby rents bicycles from PRO BIKE HIRE TENERIFE (www.prohirebiketenerife), subject to all the following terms and conditions :

The bicycle is hired for personal use and leisure purposes . It must be used within the Island of Tenerife boundaries unless requested.

The customers acknowledge that they have received the bicycle and accessories (key and padlock) in perfect working order. The bicycle must be returned at the end of the hiring period in the same conditions.

The customer must take all the necessary precautions to prevent theft, loss or damage to the rented equipment. The customer shall be solely liable in the event that the bicycle is stolen or damaged. Pro Bike Hire Tenerife is entitled to claim for the repair or replacement cost of any lost or stolen item, or when the rented equipment is returned in NOT the same condition it was received in!! The costumer hereby accepts to pay for the repair or replacement of the damaged, lost or stolen items immediately after it occurs.

If customers do not return the lock keys, they will be charged EUR 15 per key to issue a key copy.

All damaged Bikes or Kit will be charged at new price to replace the parts or complete item to bring the hired item back to the condition it was rented at.

Pro Bike Hire Tenerife accepts no liability whatsoever for injuries to the client by themselves or caused to third parties as a result of use of the bicycle, irrespective of whether said injuries are caused by chance, malicious damage, imprudence or negligence. The client hereby accepts full responsibility.

No refund will be made for early return of the bicycles.

The customers and their groups must respect Spanish traffic regulations and Tenerife specific cycling norms. Any ticket or fine due to incorrect use of the bicycle will be completely assumed by the customer.

Any Break in Hire must be Pre arranged by by customer with Pro Bike Hire Tenerife. If the Hire Bike/Kit is not collected on arrange date then Pro Bike Hire Tenerife will charge for the period and no refunds will be given.

Early return of your Hire/Rented equipment WILL NOT RESULT IN ANY FORM OF REFUND!!!!

Bike and equipment changes due to the client wishing to down to choice or opinion we are not responsible for and no refunds will be given.....


Guarantee deposit

The customer agrees to pay the owner of the equipment Hired/Rented between a 5 or 10% minimum fee of the complete value of the Product or Product complete value as guarantee deposit for the rented equipment. The customer accepts charges for any missing or broken items at market prices. Pro Bike HIre Tenerife will accept only Cash/Bank/Debit card Transfer deposit and the deposit amount will be fixed when signing the rental contract. If the missing or broken items exceed the deposit amount, the customer must settle the balance.

Deposit refunds will be paid back to the customer via the method they paid. The customer does not have the choice to change how they receive the deposit. In the case of Bank Transfer they will need to provide a valid IBAN/Bank/Sort Code number for the return deposit transfer.

- If a Valid IBAN number is not provided by the customer in 7 Days of return or pick up of bike then all deposits will not be returned!!

- In the case that the Hire/Rented equipment is returned damaged, non functional or is not returned in the condition it was received all deposits will be held and damage accessed, resulting in the damaged being paid for replacement taken from the deposit!!!

- Early Return and break of contract via the client will result in the deposit being lost in full!!

- The client is aware that the contract and dates of Hire/Rental must be fulfilled in full and changes of mind or decision of the client we are not responsible for and we will not let this effect our business running and our contractual agreements with other clients.....

- Bike and equipment changes due to the client wishing is their choice or opinion we are not responsible for. No refunds will be given.....

- Clients that request technical assistance that is due to damage, misuse or mistake of use by the client, the client will pay a minimum

10 Euro Call out fee and the time taken to fix or check the self made issue,,,,,,


Delivery and pick up service

Delivery and pick up service can be requested previous reservation and has an extra cost. The minimum delivery and pick up fee is EUR 50 for Airport Transfer and delivery and pick up fee for HIre/Rental Bike is EUR 10 per Bike!!


Pro Bike Hire Tenerife/www.prohirebiketenerife.com reserves the right to change terms and conditions at any time, without notice to assist in safe conduct for business and its clients.
